What kinda (BLANK) are you?

Blogs are a funny thing.

Everyday I blab about things I am doing, or what I am liking, or what I am wearing or working on and so on and so forth..

.blah blah blah.

Well, last night when I was trying to get my shit together enough to post something for you lovers today, I thought to myself 

"I don't know enough about you lovers!!!"

and 

I want to know about you guys and what kinda peeps you are. 

I wanna know about you ALL

How about I start a little series called

"What kinda (BLANK) are you?"

It will be a fun excersise, so I suggest y'all participate. 

So this week I ask you, 

 What Kinda CHICKEN COOP are you?

If you had to choose a coop that best embodies the kinda style, and chicken you are.

Which coop would you choose and why?

I am totally a combo COOP 5 and COOP 6

So a bit of whimsy and a bit of modern...sweet

BTW

I am crazy and sleep deprived!

That is the only explanation I have for this post

  9. I'm coop #5. It seems funny that you post this since I just signed up for an urban chicken class yesterday. I think we will start with a tiny coop and hopefully one day figure out a way to create something like #5.

  12. This is tough. I'm probably coop 5. I also appreciate coop 3 for its color. I really love this because we are actually looking at blueprints now for chicken coops to get ready for our chicks in the Spring. Some good ideas. So cute!

    If coop 2 was black like coop 5, that would be me perfectly - a little untamed and feminine, with a little edgy classic.

  15. Coop #2 for me, I love that it has a cottage feel, and that you can see the bedding, plus the more room for my adopted chickens to walk around in the better :)

  16. This is a fun idea! Sleep deprived or not sleep deprived! I'd be coop #5 because it's pretty enough for me and the chickens to hang out in and I could put a few chairs out front of the coop and have a beer or glass of wine.

  17. although my own chicken coop is not as fancy as any of these gems, and i adore karen's coop (5), i'd have to choose a combo of #'s 6 and 9. who could resist a little dwell meets trailer trash whimsy?

  31. First I was like WTF? What kind of chicken coop am I??? Then I remembered whose blog this was! :)
    So...I'll play along, & I was surprised at how tough this was. I knew for sure which ones I didn't like, but narrowing down the ones I did was hard.
    I like 4 & 7 best!

  37. Ummm, can I say #2, 3, or 4? Love crisp, clean white . . but also love the colorful coop, and I can't say no to the more natural look of #4 - it blends in with its surroundings so well!

  52. HAHAHA I was working up a post on chicken coops a month ago and couldn't get the images to load so I gave up LOL Had seen these images too and LOVED 3 and 4...torn between those two, can't decide. I sooo want a chicken coop. Love this series.

  58. OK, so I'm a little late at this game, but I had to comment. I had 5 rhode island reds last year and we built a coop out of scrap deck boards and I painted the color of number 3 coop! But in reality, coop number 8 is more my thing. What a fun (and a little random) post! Love your design work!
